Being able to be a full-time enterprenuer for the past seven years, has been an incredible journey of growth allowing me to connect, travel + continue to evolve .
Always having a love for words + the limitless possibilites of the digital space to express yourself, new opportunities began to unfold. I was able to step into the world as a freelance writer and also become the voice of brands who’s mission is to empower their community socially + on-site. Chasing Fame LLC, social media management company, was born!
So where did Chasing Fame name come from?
As a proud introvert, one of the side-effects is being an addictive observer of the world. When I first began my journey moving to Chicago + NYC, I oftentimes viewed individuals who ended up chasing the fame + notoriety while leaving their genuine dreams and purpose behind. By doing this, they traded their unique voices and powerful personality in order to confrom. From branding to individuals, being genuine + authentic is where your superpower lies. The name serves as reminder to keep your mission deeply rooted in who + what you represent.
That’s not all…
Another passion brewed up + has manifested itself on my journey. As a teen, I oftentimes yearned to see diversity during my ‘coming to age’ years which represented my voice. As a believer of being the woman you needed as a girl, I decided to create what seemed to be absent in media. My sister Eden + I launched C.O.R.E ( Creating Opportunity to ReachEmpowerment), an online magazine + non-profit geared toward girls 13-21 to encourage self awareness + acceptance.
